Accommodation

Indoor camping for Friday and Saturday nights will be available just round the corner from the museum, at the City Life Christian Church. This will be open from 4 pm on Friday until 10 am on Sunday. The cost will be £10 for one day or the weekend plus £5 for secure parking. Unfortunately, cooking facilities are not available but the Café at the Kelham Island Museum will be open for breakfasts. The facility will be fully stewarded. Remember this is a working Church and there will be a service on Sunday morning to which all are cordially invited. Places are limited, so advance booking is recommended. The normal facilities are included, but note that the premises prohibit the consumption of alcohol.

Caravanette space will also be available close to the Museum, on the Suite Superstores car park. Entrance to the site is on Russell Street, opposite the Kelham Island Tavern. This is almost the same position as last year, but nearer to the main road. Space is limited, so do book in advance. Note that electricity and running water are not provided at the hard standing, but toilets and basic washing facilities will be available at the Tavern.
